St Nicholas School, Cranleigh

St Nicholas Church of England (aided) Primary Federal School was founded in 1847 as the National School; originally situated in buildings now occupied by Cranleigh Arts Centre and since the 1960s at its present site in Parsonage Road, Cranleigh. The full title of the school emphasises its links with the Diocese of Guildford and the fact that the school has an infant department (in Dunsfold).

The school population (excluding the infant department in Dunsfold) comprises about 340 children (7 to 11 years old). The school has excellent facilities. In addition to twelve class bases there are a number of special rooms for art, food technology, music and special needs, a networked computer suite, a library, a gym and a drama hall. Outside the school has the benefit of extensive grassed playing fields, four hard play-grounds and the use of an adjoining field with a circular running track and markings for soccer.

For a prospectus and further information please contact the Headmaster, Mr John Reading.
